Really good price for what you get. Mixes fairly easily with just water alone. Of course it’s pretty bitter but I’m used to drinking horrible tasting supplements. I believe Nutricost has some very good products. I’m currently taking their Preworkout Complex, citrulline Malate, and Creatine monohydrate. So far I’ve been very satisfied with their products and will continue to use them.

Hey Ben! We haven’t seen any research suggesting that L-Citrulline affects blood sugar. There is some positive research concerning diabetes and insulin-resistance, but nothing about actual blood sugar. If you have any hesitations, you should ask your doctor about it, and as always ramp up initial doses to figure out how it’s going to affect your body. Best of luck!

L-Citrulline Malate – L-Citrulline Malate is a Citrulline derivative. Citrulline is a powerful amino acid.

    Q. What is L-Citrulline Malate?

    A. Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate is an amino acid. It operates as a pseudo-l-arginine supplement.

    Q. Why is Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate a powdered supplement?

    A. Because Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate is meant to be taken either before or during your workout. That means you want a supplement that starts working as fast as possible. Powdered supplements do that. They go straight into the stomach and straight into the bloodstream with no capsule case to dissolve.

    Q. I try to watch what I take. How clean is Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate?

    A. Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate is squeaky clean. There are no fillers to be found in Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate. No junk ingredients. Just pure, unadulterated L-Citrulline Malate.

    Q. How many servings are in a bottle of Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate?

    A. Each serving has 3 grams of L-Citrulline Malate so the number of servings will depend on the size of the bottle. Currently Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate is offered in a 600 gram (200 Servings) bottle and a 1.2 KG (400 Servings) bottle.
