Branched Chain Amino Acids, or BCAAs, are responsible for building up muscle in the body. The more BCAAs that are available, the more muscle that can be built up. THe only problem, though, is that we don’t produce these BCAAs on our own and have to get them through outside resources. This is where AST BCAA steps in to help. As a pre-workout supplement, it probides BCAAs at the perfect time to build up muscle – during a workout.
* RESULTS MAY VARY
AST BCAA is a pre-workout supplement that provides energy, intensifies focus and stimulates muscle growth for an unmatched workout.
Consume 18 capsules daily: 6 upon waking up, 6 in between meals, and 6 prior to going to bed. On training days, take 6 capsules before working out, 6 capsules during your workout, 6 capsules after working out, and 6 capsules prior to going to bed.
Follow the directions as they are explicitly explained on the label. Do not go over the amount specified. Dire consequences may result if directions are not properly followed. Consult your doctor for additional information.
L-Leucine – L-Leucine is an amino acid that must be brought into the body through outside resources such as diet because the body cannot produce it on its own. Such substances are called essential amino acids. L-Leucine helps to build muscle as well as prevent muscle breakdown.
L-Isoleucine – L-Isoleucine is an essential amino acid that also helps to build and repair muscles quickly as well as increase muscle strength.
L-Valine – Another essential amino acid, L-Valine works with the previously two mentioned amino acid to make muscles as well as provide extra energy to the body for a longer, more intense workout.
Q. How should I take this BCAA?
A. As a dietary supplement, take 7 capsules three times daily – as soon as you wake up, between meals and prior to bed. On the days you train, take 7 capsules before, during, and after training and 7 capsules before bed. For endurance athletes take 7 capsules prior to and after training or event and 7 capsules prior to bed.
Q. How long does one bottle of BCAA last?
A. A single bottle will last you 2-3 months, even those who train frequently or even multiple-times a day.
Q. How is BCAA different from the rest?
A. AST BCAA is made up of essential amino acids. The essential branched chain amino acids (BCAA’s) are of special importance for athletes because they are metabolized in the muscle, rather than in the liver. Here’s how this works: After digestion once protein is broken down into individual amino acids these aminos can either be used to build new proteins or be burned as fuel to produce energy.
Q. How many BCAA Should I Take?
A. The majority of diets supply an adequate quantity of BCAA for most people, which is about 25–65 mg per pound of body weight.28 29 Athletes participating in intense training often take 5 grams of leucine, 4 grams of valine, and 2 grams of isoleucine per day to inhibit muscle loss and boost muscle gain.
