As one of the other competitors said, after this 16 hour day we all look like bikini roadkill. But, that's ok! So grateful for everyone's support and patience through this prep, and for the awesome coaching of my @team_knockouts coach @michellefitness12 . Thank you to the incredible @lame567 and @nassss_e for coming out to cheer this girl on, and to @leahferezan who has been there as my much-needed behind-the-scenes support for the past 8 weeks. Thank you, @gildedmusclemakeup , for making me look so damn pretty for my stage debut. I felt like bikini Barbie 🙂 Lastly, I'm so thankful for this amazing suit by @katkinis !! I got sooooo many compliments on the color and the style, and it's all thanks to her amazing attention-to-detail and wonderful skill. Can't wait to rock suit #2 on stage for the next show. Questions & Answers:

Q. What got you in to fitness?

A. I have always been athletic (track and cheerleading through high school/college), but got off-track for a few years. After having kids, I needed to get back to the healthy, fit, happy woman that I once was, so I made gradual changes that worked with my new lifestyle. Incorporating fitness and nutrition in a way that compliments my life ensures that those habits will stick!

Q. What is your favorite healthy meal?

A. I could eat stuffed bell peppers every day! I substitute ground turkey for beef and quinoa for the typical white rice, to make it even healthier. Throw in some finely chopped onion (or even mushrooms!), homemade tomato sauce, and top with a hint of cheese, and you have an incredible, healthy, and complete meal.

Q. If you could train with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

A.If I could train with anyone, it would probably be Michelle Lewin. The girl never quits! She is such a beautiful and dedicated athlete, and always gives 110% to her fit lifestyle– I would love to follow her around a gym sometime.
