Q. How long have you been training and what got you started?
A. I started working out last October but it wasn’t until this January that I really took my fitness routine and eating habits more seriously! Working out became more of a priority to me when I saw the results from Kayla Itsines bikini body guides. I noticed the girls who did her guides were confident, toned, and strong, and I wanted that.
Q. What are some of your favorite overall exercises?
A. Leg day is definitely my favorite day in my exercise routine. Some of my favorite leg exercises are box jumps, donkey kicks, and jump squats. I also love doing HIIT on the treadmill. Interval sprints of 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off, for about 15 minutes, always works up a good sweat.
Q. When you’re not working out at the gym, what do you like doing?
A. When I’m not working out, I really enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s the beach in the summer, or visiting the mountains in the fall. I also love to travel. Currently, Bali, Australia, and Greece are on my list for the future!
