Questions & Answers:
Q. What does your workout split look like?
A. I currently lift 6 days a week, having 1 rest day. My gym has a sauna so I usually start off by going in there for 10 mins to start up a sweat. I will go lift then generally hit some cardio after that. My cardio always changes depending on how I feel that day. I like to switch it up so sometimes I’ll do 15 minutes on the stair stepper or 20 minutes of an incline walk or 10 minutes of HIIT. This is my split right now and has been for a while but I will likely change it soon to shock the body! Q. How long have you been lifting and what got you started?
A. I have been lifting for about 3 years now and competing in the NPC bikini division for 1 year. My ex boyfriend is what really got me into lifting. It always has been a huge part of his life. He is a personal trainer, crossfit athlete and owns his own gym. I’m extremely thankful that I had him to guide me. Health and fitness is now a huge part of my life!
Q. For those that want to get abs like you, what is one piece of advice you’d give them?
A. Eat clean, eat clean, eat clean! You absolutely cannot out-train a bad diet. You can do abs six days a week but if you’re not eating right they will never show.
