How to Lose the “Freshman 15”

Going off to college usually means exciting changes. You move to a new city -- away from your parents -- meet new friends, and learn new things.
However, freshman year can also bring about some unwanted changes on the scale. Indiana University in Bloomington found that “60% of students said they gained weight from the beginning of their freshman year to the beginning of their sophomore year.”
And it isn’t just freshman year that is cursed. The same study revealed that 67% of women and 86% of men continued to gain weight through graduation.
But this weight gain doesn’t have to be permanent. By recognizing unhealthy behaviors, and implementing good habits, you will know how to lose the Freshman 15.
