    PRE-WORKOUT AMPLIFIER

    • INFUSED WITH PIKATROPIN
    • 100 MGS OF CAFFEINE PER SERVING
    • RECOVERY & ANABOLIC MUSCLE DEVELOPEMENT
    • MUSCLE-SWELLING PUMPS

    DMAA FREE

The calmer counterpart to ProSupps Mr. Hyde, Dr. Jekyll is a pre-workout supplement designed to maximize your workout. Dr. Jekyll is formulated with 3 goals in mind:[1] give you massive muscle pumps;[2] keep you anabolic; and[3] decrease muscle fatigue during your workout.

Getting a muscle “pump” while lifting is important, the “pump” refers to an increase of nitric oxide (NO). Dr. Jekyll increases NO levels, which work as a vasodilator (vein expansion) shuttling nutrients into the muscle cell; a process which creates lean body mass. Getting a “pump” also makes you feel your workout is more intense which can have a positive psychological effect.[1]

Dr. Jekyll keeps you anabolic by improving how your body uses carbs for energy. Keeping your body anabolic longer means you increase your window of opportunity to build muscle mass.[2] Taking Dr. Jekyll along with “clean” carbs, proteins and fats will provide you with the fuel you need to maximize your workout.

Supplementing with Dr. Jekyll decreases muscle fatigue by blocking lactic acid build up. Lactic acid pre-maturely exhausts your muscles causing a significant drop in energy, also causing muscle soreness. Dr. Jekyll, with ingredients like creatine hydrochloride and agmatine sulfate, is able to hydrate and nourish muscle cells, block lactic acid and increase your capacity to workout longer and harder.[3]

    Dr Jekyll is NO JOKE!

Shit just got real from ProSupps!

I love supplements, and I especially love to test various pre-workouts. I recently ordered Jekyll from eSupplements (I don’t know why they don’t have Hyde). I am here to report back my thoughts on this supplement.

I bought Jekyll by itself for about $32 from this website, which seemed to be on the low end after pricing it out on various websites.

Results (8.5/10): Jekyll by itself is not nearly as potent as the Hyde pre-workout. For one, Jekyll has less caffeine and it lacks yohimbine HCl, which is a major source of energy for me. If you are tolerant of stimulants, then Jekyll by itself is not for you. However, I enjoyed it on days that I didn’t need a huge stimulant burst for the gym. It’s a nice clean energy, but it certainly isn’t a good stand alone product for me personally. I’d probably compare its potency to that of C4.

Taste/Smell (8.5/10): All right, I know a lot of you don’t care about taste, but my opinion is that you better enjoy it if you’re spending 60 bucks. I had the watermelon flavor and the taste is certainly palatable, but it wasn’t anything I looked forward to. I think it tasted better than the Hyde by itself, but that’s not saying a whole lot.

Mixability (10/10): Mixed well using only a spoon. No lumps or surprises.

Value (9/10): The best thing about this product that it lasts for a long time. I took one scoop of each, and I felt like the tub(s) lasted forever. Pro Supps boasts that their product is a true 40 servings and it certainly was.

Overall (8/10): Just to reiterate, Dr. Jekyll is weaker than Mr. Hyde. If you want something stronger try Hyde. I have both and I usually alternated days on each. I would recommend Jekyll to anyone who feels that they are sensitive to stimulants, or if they are new to pre-workouts. Pro Supps puts out good products, so recommending this comes with no reserves

    solid PWO

was looking to replace C4 and Hemavol with one product with slightly less caffeine and so far after a few workouts, I think i found it. Solid pumps and just enough stims to get me thru my workout AND I can sleep at night. I am taking 1.5 scoops.
Taste is fine. I am not too picky. I typically get watermelon everything.

    Featured Ingredients

Endurance Complex – Dr. Jekyll’s Endurance Complex is designed to increase your muscular stamina allowing for a longer, more intense workout. The Endurance Complex contains beta alanine, a non-essential amino acid for improved exercise capacity to help you create more lean body mass. Beta-alanine creates carnosine, which is responsible for neutralizing acid build up in your muscles creating a pH-balanced cellular environment ideal for building muscle. The Endurance Complex also contains histidine, which combats muscle fatigue. Histidine is an essential amino acid that contributes to increased carnosine levels resulting in improved exercise capacity and power.[4]

Amino Matrix – Dr. Jekyll’s Amino Matrix contains L-leucine, an essential amino acid to prevent muscle breakdown. L-leucine also supplies the body with energy under the stress of resistance training. L-leucine increases human growth hormone (HGH) secretion, which promotes healthy joints and faster muscle recovery and growth. The Amino Matrix also contains b-hydroxy b-methylbutyrate (HMB), a chemical metabolite resulting from the breakdown of L-leucine. HMB promotes the growth of new lean muscle. Dr. Jekyll also provides a generous 1000mg of creatine hydrochloride for muscle cell hydration and growth.

Pump Matrix – Loaded with agmatine sulfate, the more powerful cousin of arginine, Dr. Jekyll’s Pump Matrix helps create dramatic muscle pumps and more efficient use of carbohydrates for energy. Additionally, the Pump Matrix contains glycerol monostearate, which provides a surplus of energy as well as enhanced muscle glycogen for insane muscle pumps.

Other Ingredients – Maltodextrin, Natural & Artificial Flavor, sucralose, Silica, Acesulfame K, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1
