Top Physiques of the Week 8-1-15

Hard work should ALWAYS be recognized, which is why we wanted to highlight some of our favorite physiques we came across last week on instagram. Check them out & give them a follow for more fitness motivation!







This is me after a week and a half of eating 100 calories more! At first I was so scared to do that in fear that I'd gain weight, but guess what.. I didn't. In fact, I became leaner and lost a bit. It's funny how I increased everything the past couple weeks- calories, fat, carbs, and protein- and I didn't gain weight, I lost some. People who have been through what I have been through have been asking me how I overcame the fear of food and getting in the 4 digits of caloric intake because it seems like so much food. Let me tell you this- my mindset has COMPLETELY changed. I no longer look at food as I did, food is not something to be afraid of, it is something to enjoy and eat in balance and moderation. I took a leap of faith to trust my body and trust that I could find this light of happiness at the end of a tunnel, and I have. I am leaner than ever, eating more than ever, and I can't even stress how important it is to NOT starve yourself because you will binge eat later in the day because your body is screaming for nutrients. So when you do finally feed it, it will turn all that food to fat, which leads you to believe food is bad. Food is fuel! Be healthy, happy, and trust your body. Nobody should ever suffer through something that society portrays to be acceptable. Be you because nobody else can be?????????

I know I missed #FlexFriday but here's one of my favorite mandatory poses. #SideTricep I just want to say, I wouldn't be able to do this without my team. Yes, there are people that go forward alone and go through their own trials with nobody to help them. I applaud those warriors. Fortunately for me, I have a huge supporting cast & so much knowledge to be given. For the ones that do it alone, find a team. You'll get farther with a team. "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." There's a method to everything. There is a science to everything you do from eating to sleeping to working out in the gym. I've managed to get a great base through the people I've met. And one day I'll be able to relay all the information I've learned to anyone who wants my help. So for the lone wolves, it'll get hard alone. You are strong enough to make it alone but I promise you, with the right group.. Running with a wolf pack you can be so successful.
