1,000 lb Club Timed Challenge



The 1,000 lb club is a fairly sought after group within the weight-lifting community. To be a member of the club, the total weight lifted during your squat, bench, and deadlift need to total 1,000 lbs or more –the name says it all, right? Needless to say, you’ve got to be stronger than the average gym goer to join the ranks.

Well, there is currently a 1,000 lb timed-challenge that is making its way rounds on the internet right now courtesy of Tim Thebodeau, a YouTuber and weightlifter, and its setting new challenges for those in the 1,000 lb club. The challenge is to lift 1,000 lbs by doing a squat, bench press, and deadlift as quickly as possible with good form.
